Job description:

We're looking for a WJTI Coordinator to join our team at Wimbledon. The role is based at
The All England Community Tennis Centre, Raynes Park.

What you will be doing:


WJTI

  • Support the efficient management and administration of the WJTI programme
  • Coordinate with the Head Coach and Community Head Coach, organise the schedules of all strands of the WJTI (weekend coaching, Plus/Squad sessions, school visits, outreach programmes)
  • Coordinate WJTI school visits to include liaising with schools pre
- and post
- visits, MSSP and Enable

  • You'll produce information relevant to each group within each programme to maximise their experience of tennis
  • Support the delivery of connectivity of WJTI to the Club, liaising with schools regarding WJTI and EYA visits, and AELTC visits
  • Make court bookings, administrate WJTI tournaments, produce registers and record attendance on database, collate information on players and maintain records on progress
  • Manage the WJTI membership renewal process, process invoices, purchase orders etc
  • Manage and develop the use of the CRM database
  • Assisting with the development and maintaining the relationships with key stakeholders including Merton Council, Wandsworth Council, Public Health, the Merton School Sports Partnership and the LTA
  • Compiling and writing Sub-Committee and Wimbledon Foundation reports on WJTI footprint and participation
  • Support the development and delivery of events including Tennis in the Park, Mini Tennis Festivals, Parent Tours and Croquet connectivity
  • Support the creation and development of a Wandsworth strand of the WJTI
  • Support the integration of tennis programmes and maintain strong collaboration and communication with key internal stakeholders
  • Ensure coaches have fully compliant LTA accreditation status
  • DBS, First Aid, Safeguarding
  • Lead on other various WJTI projects including merchandise, tours and Middle Sunday open up

Communications and Public Relations

  • To provide content for the WJTI pages of the Wimbledon website and to ensure an up to date and accurate presentation of the programme
  • To manage the WJTI website and the relationship with FSI / Clubspark
  • Develop and implement the plan for the WJTI photography

Other Information

  • Maintain health, safety and security in the workplace and comply with all company procedures and guidelines, including manual handling procedures
  • You'll provide support on specific projects that require administration support including other duties within the scope of the role as may be required

What part your role will play in The Championships

  • You'll support the delivery of events including The Championships.

About You:


  • You'll have experience of working within an existing leisure type facility catering for a wide cross section of customers
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and influencing skills; able to build and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of people
  • Strong organisational, project management and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Efficient, professional and reliable with a proactive, solutionfocused approach to meet deadlines
  • Strong IT skills: MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in the use of Membership Management software packages, for example, Clubspark
  • You'll have experience of working in a 'committee led' organisation with a positive, flexible, solution orientated approach
  • Knowledge of tennis with a passion/love for the game
  • Working hours and days will be in accordance with an agreed rota, however, flexibility will be required regarding the days and hours of work to meet the needs of the business.
