Key Responsibilities


Assist in providing HR advice, guidance and case management to our clients across HR/Employee Relations, Recruitment, Learning & Development and Organisational Development.


  • Assist in providing first line advice and guidance to clients for routine HR and employment law queries to manage risk, resolve issues and.
  • Deal with and respond to initial first line queries to resolve or sign post to team members.
  • Help to build and maintain positive client relationships to add value and deliver service excellence.
  • Provide support and assistance to the team in relation to more complex case management across all areas of employment law such as grievance, disciplinary, absence and other matters.
  • Provide confidential HR and general administrative support including accurate note taking, collating evidence bundles/packs, preparation of reports, maintaining records and file structures, photocopying, proof reading, data entry and data collation and analysis in line with GDPR.
  • Coordination of Occupational Health referrals.
  • Support the project management and delivery of various organisational development activities including employee surveys, benchmarking and designing people practices.
  • Assist with research on various projects including contributing to the writing of good practice articles and innovative approaches across all areas of operation.
  • Support activities aimed at automation of business processes and general process improvement.
  • Provide support and assistance for the development of training programmes, organisation of logistics and collation of training packs.
  • Support the development of online learning, client and learner onboarding and communications.
  • Provide assistance with marketing and other business development related activities.
  • Other duties as may reasonably fall within the remit of the role.
  • A minimum 1 year experience of working in a HR related environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with sound spelling and grammar
  • Sound PC skills including Microsoft packages
  • Results orientated with strong attention to detail, good problem solving and time management
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and also independently
  • Confidentiality
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
  • Driving License and access to a car

Ideally the person will have:


  • HR or legal related degree or equivalent or be working towards a HR qualification.
  • CIPD membership.
