If you are a Registered Children's or Adult Nurse or a Registered Midwife who wants to specialise in the care of sick preterm babies and their families then why not join us at our forward thinking Level 1 Special Care Baby Unit at QEQM Hospital in Margate, Kent. Our unit provides care for babies and families from the local East Kent community and has 12 Special Care and 2 High Dependency cots and there are opportunities to work at the neonatal intensive care unit at William Harvey Hospital although the post is primarily for SCBU.
Main duties of the job Our Practice Development Lead and Clinical Skills Facilitator will support you with a bespoke induction package (working alongside Preceptorship if appropriate). You will be supported in all areas of the unit with a plan to undertake the Neonatal Intensive Care Course within a year to provide you with the much sought after Specialist Qualification in Neonatal Nursing.
