    Summary:

    Bakkavor Desserts Highbridge is on the lookout for a Process Technologist to oversee the seamless transition of product concepts to launch, ensuring that technical and quality standards are met while also maximizing profitability. The ideal candidate will be tasked with challenging existing factory processes, identifying areas for enhancement, streamlining operations, and implementing value engineering strategies.

    Your Role:

    • Conduct trials according to Bakkavor and Customer specifications under the guidance of the Line Manager.
    • Thoroughly document all trial data, including shelf-life and organoleptic insights, for future reference to assess process capabilities and support due diligence.
    • Provide requested samples to Customers and for analysis purposes, such as Microbiological testing, organoleptic assessments, and transit trials.
    • Efficiently plan and allocate resources to meet trial objectives within designated project timelines.
    • Collaborate with NPD and Operations to establish suitable quality parameters for work in progress, assembly, and finished products, considering operational capacities.
    • Perform continual Process validation of relevant factory equipment to uphold site due diligence standards.
    • Coordinate Pre-Production and Launch readiness activities.
    • Participate in post-launch assessments of processes alongside NPD to confirm the validity of the established processes and make necessary enhancements for full-scale production.
    • Adhere to safe work practices and contribute to driving continuous improvement initiatives related to health, safety, and environmental concerns.
