Description
Our client are leaders in the field of specialist art lighting.

They specialise in the design and manufacture of LED products that transform works of art within private residences, stately homes, galleries and museums, with commissions for high-end commercialspaces.


They currently have an opening for a Product Design Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development and production of architectural LED lighting products.

This will include inputting products into the MRP system, creating manufacturing drawings,updating BOMs, product prototyping and product testing. This would particularly suit a technically minded individual with knowledge from the architectural lighting product design marketplace.


Skills and Experience needed for the Product Design Engineer:

  • 5+ years' relevant experience to include lighting
  • Knowledge of product engineering / manufacturing processes / techniques
  • Ideally knowledge of MRP/ERP software systems and production of BOM's
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Problemsolving capability
  • Fluent with SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Adobe CS
