Job Description ICAT Team Lead with Stork:

Onshore focal point for assets with responsibility for day-to-day interface with ICAT teams offshore and responsible for generation and review of all related work scopes.


Tasks and Responsibilities ICAT Team Lead:

Contract Delivery

  • Provide primary interface between offshore ICAT team and integrity engineering team onshore.
  • Support ICAT per, integrity and corrosion sponsored contractors in the prioritisation and planning of work.
  • Interface with Offshore Inspection Engineer to provide sufficient evidence when scoping any new/existing work.
  • Review inspection reports, isometrics, vessel general arrangements and P&ID drawings.
  • Manage and report on the status of all in progress of ICAT activities on the installation.
  • Liaise with Offshore Inspection Engineer to maximise opportunistic scopes of work in line with clients critically factor rating.
  • Give technical advice in order to ensure adhoc work is completed safely and against planned activities.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Give input to the workpack process by donating relevant FM techniques to meet integrity objectives.
  • Give input to periodical audits of ICAT Work scopes to ensure compliance to procedures.

Specific Requirements for the ICAT Team Lead:

Education & Experience

Education

Essential

  • ICORR or NACE Level 1 or above

Desirable

  • APM PFQ (Project Fundamentals Qualification) or equivalent
  • Auditor training
  • SAP Maximo Training

Experience

Essential

  • Onshore experience producing work packs and carrying out work prep review.
  • Knowledge of all common and new Fabric Maintenance methods used to execute work offshore.
  • Ability to read and interpret commonly used engineering drawings and data sets used in support of inspection activities, e.g. piping isometrics, vessel general arrangements, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process flow diagrams, piping schedules.
  • Kknowledge of the uses and limitations of commonly applied nondestructive examination techniques applied in support, e.g. MPI, DPI, UT measurement, Rad techniques.
  • Working knowledge of the use and limitations of specialist NDE techniques applied in support of above water inspection and monitoring programmes, e.g. pulsed eddy current, thermography, time of flight diffraction, CHIME, etc.
  • Clear understanding of major discipline issues arising from oil and gas production systems. Awareness of materials and key degradation mechanisms associated with the deterioration of offshore production facilities.
  • Computer literate with proven ability to use common Microsoft Office packages.
  • Proven ability to work without supervision and to provide effective supervision to others.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and articulate inspection and corrosion issues at all levels within offshore organisation.
  • Ability to communicate fluently and effectively, in the English language, with peers, direct reports, subcontract personnel and immediate management.

Desirable

  • Experience as an Offshore / Plant Inspection Engineer with an Oil or Petro-Chemical Background
  • Working knowledge of key legislation and regulatory framework applicable to offshore regime with understanding of major accident hazards, performance standards, assurance and verification activities
  • Familiar with typical corrosion monitoring equipment and associated practices and procedures for retriev
