JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description HR Advisor with Stork:

The role of HR Advisor at Stork will partner with Managers from across the business and support in the full employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding and induction through to supporting in various employee relations matters.


Support and advise management of the business in the implementation of the operational staffing plan, within the framework of established HR policies, rules and regulations in order to realize adequate staffing of the assigned unit.


Tasks and Responsibilities as HR Advisor:

HR activities

  • Provide support and advice on HR processes and activities to the assigned department/team business operations ensuring compliance to HR processes and the Human Resources strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies for the assigned unit and Business Line and (ensure), after approval by Manager, implementation and assessment of the HR (year) plan/budget for assigned department/team, to be approved by the manager on a higher level.

Advise

Recruitment & selection

  • Support management in the selection and hiring of employees.
  • Ensure with HR Administrator the correct and timely administration of contracts.

Learning & development

  • Advice management and employees in order to help the employees close gaps in skills and competences.
  • Ensure administration of employee development and training plans and results.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Communicate job descriptions, grading and salary bands within set Group and BL policies to Management, Recruitment and employees in order to support company strategy of paying in line with market and internal equity
  • Communication of (insured) benefit to Management, Recruitment department and employees
  • Conduct routine salary administration tasks, providing advice to managers on wages and salaries of all employees, except senior Management
  • Ensure correct administration of individual (and collective) employee Comp&Ben in HR admin systems.

Control & systems

Management information

  • Provide insights at request or at own initiative regarding quantitative and qualitative developments through periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses, based on reporting guidelines.

Specific Requirements for the HR Advisor:

Education & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, law, industrial engineering, psychology

Experience and Skills

  • Extensive general experience of which some must be as HR Coordinator, middle seasoned professional.
