Hygiene Team Leader

4 Days on 4 Days off 18:00-06:00am (Night Shift)

Our continued success comes from our dedicated workforce, and we are now recruiting for a Hygiene Team Leader to join our Milton Keynes site, manage a team of Hygiene Operatives whilst ensuring the highest standards of hygiene cleaning are consistently set and maintained.

As an experienced Team Leader, you will manage and engage your team members, supporting them to achieve and exceed the highest industry standards in relation to health & safety, employee welfare, and hygiene food safety.

Shift: 4 Days on 4 Days off from18:00-06:00am

Key Accountabilities:

Team management to include: identifying development needs, absence management and motivation in accordance with site policies and procedures
Lead by example, displaying behaviours consistent with Cranswick's organisational culture
Carry out scheduled cleaning/deep cleaning of departmental machinery, equipment, environments, and production lines
Operate in a safe manner in conjunction with implemented cleaning, and safety instructions
Identify and report any safety, quality, engineering, or hygiene issues
Ensure all practices and procedures are carried out in line with relevant policies
Ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the facility, paying attention to fixtures, fittings, and signage
Detailed cleaning of warehouse barrier work, racking and picking slots to ensure optimum levels of food safety and hygiene
Provide and maintain clear documentation of all work
Utilise approved only electrical / mechanical cleaning equipment/materials
Ability to work at heights where required
Support the wider Facilities and Site functions as required
Any other reasonable work tasks as requested

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications:

Previous Team/Leader/People Management experience
Experience gained from previous Hygiene roles
FMCG/Food industry advantageous
Ability to successfully work and prioritise workload within a fastmoving environment
Ability to work as part of team and under own initiative
Ability to accurately understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Excellent communication skills
High attention to detail
