Due to rapid growth we are recruiting for a Receptionist - weekends only.

Accountability Level

  • Individuals in Care, Support and Service directly serve our customers (e.g. Service Users and their families, colleagues, purchasers and suppliers).
  • It includes people who work individually or as members of teams and may include supervisory roles.
  • These roles meet the needs of internal and external customers, guided by professional and corporate standards and procedures.

Job Purpose:
To deliver high quality administration secretarial duties within the Home. To provide high quality customer service to service users, their families, colleagues, purchasers & suppliers.

Job Specific Duties - Receptionist / Admin


Specific Duties Include:


  • In the face of the company, meeting and greeting visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Answering the telephone
  • Ensuring the Nominal Roll is accurate on a day to day basis.
  • Typing
  • Opening of Post and allocating to appropriate staff
  • E Mails
  • Faxing
  • Photo Copying
  • Filing
  • Stationery Order
  • Assist Manager with recruitment paper work, i.e. references, DBS Check and set up Personnel File.
  • Support Manager with updating Careblox
  • Time and Attendance system
  • You may occasionally be requested to take minutes of meetings.
  • Under take training as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Experience in an administration / secretarial related setting preferred.

Experience & good understanding in the use of Microsoft Office Packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
