Hillcrest Nursing Home is a 43 bed home, set in the beautiful Shropshire village of Minsterley.

We are looking for a Domestic who takes pride in their work and has a friendly demeanour to join our supportive team.

The position will be working alternate weekends, 30 hrs a week.

Responsibilities of a Domestic Assistant:

Helps to maintain a safe, healthy and pleasant environment.
Ensures the linen and residents clothes are kept clean and in a good state of repair at all times.
Ensure that residents clothes are labelled with correct ID
Maintain linen stores in a clean and organised manner
Carries out cleaning duties in accordance with the homes requirements.
Reports any defects faults or maintenance requirements to cleaning equipment or furnishings.
Uses and stores cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
Ensures adequate cleaning supplies are available at all times.
Helps to maintain a safe, healthy and pleasant environment for colleagues and Service Users.
Ensures the facility and all furnishings are clean and tidy at all times.
Ensures that all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely.
