Description

The role will report in to the Development Manager and be their technical lead as well as having some responsibility to mentor and up skill two junior web developers.

You will also be a key component in the development and delivery of the technical roadmapas the business invests in the web team to help drive the business forward which will take the team to 5 / 6 developers.

The ultimate goal for the business is to transform the development department from a bunch of individual developers working on their own projects to a development team that we can focus on projects as the demands of the business change.

Furthermore, theywant to establish a core set of standards that the team can deliver against to demonstrate the value and ROI that the department delivers for the business.

The role will be based predominantly from home with occasional office visits to interact with the wider business and product managers.
