Description

Our client is an established Top 10 UK accountancy firm and they are recruiting a Manager within their Private Client Tax Services team based in Salisbury.

Overseeing junior members of staff and assisting with technical and personal development, you would also:

manage a portfolio of personal client with complex tax affairs and focus on non-UK domiciled individuals, HNWIs and some trusts

- day to day responsibilities to meet clients, ensure deadlines for compliance are met, proactively liaise with clients on advisory matters
- assist Partners with and lead tax planning projects e.g. non-dom issues, onshore and offshore trusts, CGT and inheritance tax issues.
- manage HMRC enquiries and LDF related matters
- billings and monitoring against budgets
- review compliance and basic advisory work prepared by junior staff
- presenting at technical training sessions
- engage in personal business development activities

You will need to be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with significant knowledge of private client tax issues and ideally experience of advising non-domiciled individuals and handling complete CGT and IHT matters.

You willalso need to be able to demonstrate experience of managing complex compliance issues and people management skills.
