Description

WilsonJones is an established and successful school contract caterer, providing meals to children in primary and secondary schools.

We are currently looking for an assistant cook to prepare the main lunch meals at our secondary school, St Bedes.

As a cook you will have responsibility of ensuring that the main meals are cooked to the company standards, using only fresh ingredients.

Within this role, you will be focussing on delivering the highest quality of food, supporting with kitchen management and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure consistency of food and service standards in your school catering operation
Manage and improve all controllable costs
Deliver exceptional customer service
Maintain company systems & procedures, and legislation
Experience within a similar role in a school environment is preferable, but previous catering experience is essential.

Term time only (39 weeks) 7:00am - 3:00pm

Salary:
£11.25 per hour
