CASS Administrator required for growing business.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the firm's FCA Client Money and Custody Asset (CASS) regulatory requirements and responsibilities, including the timely escalation of breaches and issues to the CASS Oversight Manager.


Your Key Responsibilities

  • Completion of the daily internal and external client money reconciliations
  • Completion of the daily internal custody asset reconciliations
  • Identification and rectification of reconciliation discrepancies
  • Timely identification and reporting of CASS breaches and near misses
  • Analysis of CASS breaches including trends, root cause analysis and rectification
  • Maintaining accurate Client Money records
  • Completion of the daily Unallocated Client Money transactions
  • Assistance with the Production of CASS MI
  • Completion of all regulatory training within the required time frames
  • Providing assistance to the CASS Oversight Manager, as necessary
  • Production and maintenance of CASS procedures
  • Assistance with the compiling of information required for CASS Audits
  • Compiling data required for monthly FCA Client Money and Assets Reporting (CMAR)
  • Identification of key risks and controls in relation to CASS and finance processes undertaken
  • Ensuring all CASS record keeping requirements are met as per the FCA rules.

Key Attributes and Qualifications

  • Have previously worked in a finance role, or hold a finance qualification
  • Previous experience of CASS administration is desirable
  • Strong verbal reasoning skills and investigatory abilities
  • An interest in continuing selfdevelopment
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of integrity and dependability
  • Systems literate, with the ability to manage and improve processes to produce timely, accurate and incisive information
  • Ability to manage workload, work independently and meet deadlines
