Horizon Search & Selection are currently working with a manufacturing company based in a busy market town in Norfolk who are looking for a QA Inspector to join their busy R&D/ Technical team.

The company - Develop and Manufacture products for their own brand as well as other brand owners and also grocery own brand labels.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

GMP Audits including Glass and Brittle Plastic audits and reporting results to relevant parties
HACCP audits
Testing and approval of packaging components
AQL and inspections of finished goods and components as required
Preparation of Customer Samples
Line Inspections
Creating QAS Sheets for production and customers
Updating Excel Spreadsheets Raising documentation relating to defective incoming materials and finished products
Ensuring that defective products are blocked on the Stock control System

This position is offered as a full-time, permanent position working Monday - Friday each week. The hours of work are 07:00 - 15:30. The Salary offered is circa £22,000 depending on experience and will be reviewed after a probationary period. There are also some benefits offered too.

The ability to work in a fastpaced environment and able to work as part of a crossfunctional team
The ability to cope under pressure and maintain flexibility within peak working times relating to your personal workload
Able use management operating systems and IT based packages effectively
The ability to anticipate and identify problems as they arise and provide effective solutions
Excellent time management skills and a sense of ownership
