Youth Support Worker

LOCATION:
Reading

SALARY:
£ £14.15 PAYE Inclusive of holiday

DURATION:1-6 months +

HOURS: 37.5 per week | Monday - Friday | 9am - 5pm

Day-to-day duties:

Provide floating support to care leavers.
Provide emotional and practical advice whilst promoting independent living.
Assisting clients on visits in the community including shopping, making and attending job centre and doctors' appointments with them
Provide housing advice and support such as accessing benefit forms/Universal Credit and the overall goal of moving into their own accommodation.
Develop and maintain support plans and conduct support sessions with clients.
Carry out risk and needs assessments.
Signpost clients to gain further support.

Essentials:

DBS within the last 12 months

Desirable:

Previous experience working with those 16+
Driver with own car
