Location - Hackney

Salary - £85-£95 Per Day PAYE
Do you have experience supporting children/ young people with SEN?

Do you have experience working in a primary school setting?

Would you like to make a positive impact by supporting SEN pupils in KS1 both with SEN?

About the School

The Teaching Assistant SEND Role

As the Teaching Assistant SEND you will support the students in year 2 with their reading, writing and maths development.

As the Teaching Assistant SEND, you will be doing SALT and reading interventions, it is essential that you are able to build a strong rapport with both students and staff as you will be working closely with the senior leadership team and a SALT therapist.

Teaching Assistant SEND requirements

Passionate about supporting students with SEND
Experience using phonics is essential
Ideally, Teaching Assistant would have experience using Makaton and PECs
Committed to personal development and learning specialist skills
The successful Teaching Assistant SEND should be proactive and flexible
The Teaching Assistant SEND should be a team player and build rapport quickly with both staff and students
Ideally a Graduate or someone with previous SEN experience either formal or informal
