POSITION OVERVIEW


As Social Media Executive your role will assist the Senior Social Media Manager in their responsibilities for managing all English-speaking social platforms at Aman, working closely with multiple departments to implement the brand's vision for social media.

This will include collaborating with a global network of social media champions and providing day-to-day support with content creative, scheduling, community management, upkeeping profile health, influencer requests and reporting.

Working within the dynamic, fast paced Digital Team you will help create impactful and engaging social channels that help achieve Aman's ambition to claim a new space in ultra luxury brands.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the daytoday management of Aman's social media platforms, including the scheduling, curation and publishing of content.
  • Work closely with brand and social creative teams to help create compelling content across various formats including infeed, Reels and Instagram Stories, using data learnings to optimise and improve results.
  • Collaborate closely with our global network of social media champions and agencies to ensure compliance of best practices, brand art direction and tone of voice assisting with copywriting and proofreading where necessary.
  • Assist with the ongoing training and development of social media champions, providing a continuous dialogue of feedback, guidance and training.
  • Take a lead with community management and daily social media monitoring to help us build an engaged community of followers.
  • Analyse Aman's Social Listening topics to better understand trends, conversations and keywords, and identify opportunities to increase the brand's share of voice, including across platforms where we don't currently have an active presence such as TikTok.
  • Ensure the continuous optimisation of social media channels alongside the regular auditing that all information including Instagram bios, geolocations, contact details, and Linkin.

  • Liaise with platforms, partners and agencies with account troubleshooting, platform requests and development to ensure our tools are offering the best service possible and any issues are swiftly resolved.
  • Work with creative and production teams in the planning and organising of socialfirst content creator photo and video shoots, from briefing to coordination with property teams.
  • Help manage influencer and content creator requests and collaborations, assisting the PR and social teams in planning, organising and reporting on all stays.
  • Compile social media reports for brand and property teams to provide continuous insights and learnings on content performance.
  • Work closely with the Digital Performance Manager to provide creative insights for paid social campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Social Media Executive for China on the social media in Asia. WeChat, Weibo Align content and campaign calendars, share visual and copy assets.
  • Assist Digital Performance Manager with management of the online reputation of all hotels across review sites using Yext provide daytoday support to all users across all properties.
  • On occasion, support the wider marketing team with the design of PowerPoint presentations and reports so they are on brand.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two years marketing or social media experience.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills required.
  • Exceptional fluent English, written and verbal.
  • Experience of working in a fastmoving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Natural flair for all things social with an eye on new innovations and technically savvy.
  • Exceptional storytelling ability and creative skills, ideally with a background in editorial, content and creative.
  • Experience managing photoshoots and working with creative teams.
  • Proven success in international markets.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Instagram Stories Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube), as well as Powerpoint and InDesign as a plus.
  • Prior experience of social media scheduling and reporting tools preferred.
  • Highly organised and driven with meticulous attention to detail.
