We are hiring Support Workers for our Supported Living Accommodation based off Tadcaster Road in York.

Our Care/Support workers provide daily support and personal care, and once fully trained will administer medication to our tenants.

Duties may also include arranging daily activities, taking our tenants out on trips and activities, helping to prepare meals or attending sensory sessions at Wilberforce House.

We also encourage tenants to develop and maintain positive relationships with family and friends.

Salary


Fully operational salary:

- £13.00 per hr for social hours
- £14.00 per hr for unsocial hours


Starting salary:

- £12.00 per hr for social hours
- £13.00 per hr for unsocial hours

  • Social hours are Monday to Friday 7am9pm, Unsocial hours are all other shifts._
We also offer a health package with Simply Health providing financial support for dental, optical and other health bills.


You will receive 20 days' holiday per year, plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays after 2 years' service.

30 days holiday after your 10th year Plus a day off to rest and enjoy your birthday


There are opportunities to progress within the organisation, gain recognised qualifications including The Care Certificate and take on additional responsibilities.

All staff are supported to achieve the Care Certificate (if needed) and complete a successful induction period.
