Payroll Officer


Contract:
FTC - until end of July 2024, with potential extension


Salary:
circa £30,000, with flexibility DOE + fantastic benefits


Location:
Hybrid working - Cardiff city centre office


Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Payroller to join this large organisation, to support the team through a busy transition period.

As the Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • the day to day running of an effective and efficient payroll service including salary and pension administration
  • Updating and maintaining employee data on the HRIS
  • Supporting the implementation and roll out of a new Payroll system and related tasks
  • Being a point of contact for all payroll queries
  • Providing staff training for use of payroll system where required
  • Supporting internal and external reporting and data requirements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working in high volume Payroll Administration / Payroll Officer positions
  • Has fantastic interpersonal skills to support key stakeholders through the HR/Payroll System implementation phase
  • Ideally has worked with iTrent before, but this isn't a deal breaker as long as you are tech savvy and can pick up systems quickly
  • Is a true team player and happy to roll sleeves up and get stuck into supporting the team with ad hoc tasks
  • Is comfortable with some ambiguity
