Standard activities include:

  • Standard warehouse activities, picking, loading, using FLT and VNA
  • Plan receiving of stock and assist with booking goods in.
  • Plan overnight picking and loading and other outbound requirements.
  • Supervise the resources of the shift, planning activity and supervising staff.
  • Step up to cover Shift Team Leader
  • Assist colleagues with issues.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety matters, equipment checks and maintenance procedures are carried out and documented
  • Ensure Warehouse is kept tidy and 'clean as we go' rule is followed
  • Support line Manager with investigations and 1st stages of disciplinary meetings
Knowledge and Experience

  • Knowledge of Warehouse procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of Goods In procedures and practices
  • Experienced FLT essential and VNA desirable
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to concentrate in a busy environment
  • Able to carry out physical activity as the role demands
  • Understanding of written and oral communication.

Salary:
£28,500.00-£29,500.00 per year

Experience:


  • Warehouse experience: 3 years (preferred)
