Sales Ledger Assistant / Remote Working / Permanent / £23,000 - £25,000

Macildowieare excited to be working with a market-leading organisation, looking to add an
experienced Sales Ledger Assistant to the fast-paced finance function.


This is a
permanent opportunity, looking to provide an
excellent benefits and salary package of £23,000 - £25,000 dependent on experience.

This is a
fully remote working role, and they will provide you the equipment to set up at home.

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for billing, including raising invoices, ensuring the closure list is kept up to date and preparing any other ad hoc invoicing as required
  • Ownership of customer account ledgers and ensuring all invoices are raised and payments posted and matched
  • Responsible for the debtor base including the timely collection of all invoices
  • Providing monthly updates on the debt position
  • Promptly coordinate external debt recovery
  • Assist with requests from the central purchase ledger function (e.g. invoice approval, investigation of invoice discrepancies, BACS approval, etc.) on an ad hoc basis

Key Skills:


  • Experience in a similar sales ledger role
  • Excellent working knowledge across numerous finance software
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A 'can do' attitude
