    An exciting opportunity has emerged for individuals to join our team in Trauma & Orthopaedics as Health Care Support workers.

    • You will play a key role in delivering exceptional person-centred care alongside our experienced nursing team.
    • Our focus is on providing safe, efficient, and timely care tailored to the needs of patients undergoing elective orthopaedic surgery or the care of elderly patients.
    • Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily activities and approaching your work with empathy and kindness.
    • Ideal candidates should thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, ideally having previous experience in a care setting and a drive to advance in their role.

    Successful candidates must meet the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout their tenure.

    The working hours are 37 hours per week, with part-time options also available.

    Shortlisted candidates will receive communication via email, so remember to check your inbox regularly.

    Starting from April 1, 2024, NHS Scotland will be transitioning to a 37-hour workweek, with no change in pay. This adjustment will also be proportionately applied to part-time employees. While some departments may not immediately implement the new hours, you may need to work an extra 30 minutes per week temporarily, compensating you until the transition is complete.
