    Information and Cyber Security Capability Maturity Assessor

    Day Rate: Up to £750 Inside IR35 Dependent on Experience

    The Client: A top Insurance Company is in need of an information & cyber security capability maturity assessor

    Location: Central London - Hybrid working setup

    Duration: 6 Months Rolling Contract

    The Role:

    This position involves leading the design and execution of capability maturity assessment for the client's information & cyber security following the NIST framework using existing materials and conducting point-in-time assessments through:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborating with capability and control owners to map relevant controls for scoping the assessment according to NIST framework
    • Defining maturity thresholds and their relationship to implementing various controls
    • Coordinating all stakeholder interactions within tight timelines
    • Providing detailed progress reports
    • Creating documentation to support senior governance committees in sharing assessment results
    • Arranging and managing briefings, meeting attendance, scheduling, and response reviews

    Skills Requirements:

    Specialized knowledge of technology and cyber security controls is essential for this position

    Familiarity with NIST framework for cyber security and other information & cyber security frameworks

    Capability to develop end-to-end processes for assessing information and cyber security maturity

    Clarity in communicating requests to relevant stakeholders

    Ability to execute tasks within strict deadlines

    Proficiency in presenting assessment outcomes at an executive management level
