Deputy Head of Procurement (AfC - 8a) - £48,526 - £54,619

*Hybrid working arrangement*Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH) NHS Foundation Trust is a medium-sized district hospital that provides a full range of acute hospital services and an increasing number of specialist services to the growing population of Milton Keynes and the surroundingareas. With around 550 beds and employing more than 4,000 staff, the hospital sees and treats approximately 400,000 patients each year comprising both outpatient and emergency attendances.

The Deputy Head of Procurement will report into the Head of Procurement and support in meeting the Trust's overall objectives through the development of the procurement strategy and works plans.

They will have responsibility over both operational aspectsof the division as well as leading on contract renewal and strategic, Trust-wide, projects.

Excellent management skills and required to lead a varied team of buyers, procurement analyst and assistant, and the receipt & delivery team.
