MacKenzie King are recruiting a
Finance Business Partneron a
2 year fixed term contract for an organisation that provides a truly valuable service to the community.

As a
Finance Business Partner you will be monitoring the financial performance of the organisation, alongside playing a crucial role in their budgeting processes.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Interpreting and interrogating the financial performance within each budgeting area and challenging the budget holder where necessary.
  • Appraise financial proposals on change and transformation projects reporting will be required on all live projects on a monthly basis.
  • Authorise/approve requests for unbudgeted spend from the heads of department and budget holders.
  • Preparing the monthly management accounts which will be used to understand the financial performance of the organisation and influence their decision making. You may be required to step up and lead these processes.
  • Play a fundamental role in the preparation of the annual budgeting and regular reforecasting processes.

Key Skills & Attributes:


  • Studying towards ACCA/CIMA is preferred.
  • Experience and understanding of financial/management accounting.
  • Experience working closely with budget holders.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong Excel skills.
