We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team. As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation logistics for our company. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


What you will be doing

  • Coordinate and schedule transportation activities, including pickups, deliveries, and shipments (up to 120 drivers across the UK and Europe)
  • Liaise with drivers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely and efficient transportation operations, not just in the UK but across Europe
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure ontime delivery
  • Resolve any transportationrelated issues or delays
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver logs, mileage reports, and fuel usage
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize transportation processes and improve overall efficiency.

About you

  • Must have experience of working within a busy transport office (min 1 year)
  • Possess detailed knowledge of the working time directive
  • Fluency in an Eastern European language not essential but advantageous
  • A positive 'cando' mentality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
  • Proficiency in using transportation management software or systems
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Salary:
£28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
