    Overview

    Responsible for the development, delivery, maintenance or monitoring of Data Security policies, standards, and best practices

    Responsible for every aspect of data safety in the data ensuring there are minimal risk to the organisation by adopting and integrating the right technology

    Work in partnership with the wider organisation such as security architect and technology to design and implement data security blueprint

    Supports data security assessments and risk analysis, and makes recommendations to improve data security controls

    Role

    Responsible for devising and overseeing the execution of the data security strategy including all aspects of encryption, obfuscation, masking, PKI and digital certificates management

    Working collaboratively with peers to assess the threat landscape and devise strategies to mitigate risks to the business

    Customer focused SME with extensive knowledge of Data Security and user experience

    Oversees the management and acts as an authority on high-level complex decisions within the function

    Creates and sustains an environment of ingenuity, creativity, and challenges the status quo to encourage innovation

    About You

    Experience with information discovery and classification across legacy and cloud environments including structured and unstructured data

    Experience with data masking and encryption at a file and field level

    Deep understanding Data Leakage Prevention, with a business focus on prevention AND monitoring - user behavioural analytics experience welcome

    IT experience with demonstrated thought-leadership and functional influence and partnership

    Experience initiating and managing improvement in security domain areas by leveraging process metrics
