The ES Best team:

ES Best is one of the fastest growing product review platforms in the UK, and it offers its readers insight on the best products on the market, at the best prices. This role will add to an existing and dynamic team of three in rapid expansion._

Job purpose:

We are looking for someone who has plenty of ideas and able to write engaging content on the latest trends.

Must be enthusiastic, a self-starter, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines. On a day-to-day basis, you will be writing product roundups, reviewing the latest launches and trialing trends.

You will have at least 1-2 years of experience in journalism and have the ability to write across many different topics, especially tech.

Key responsibilities:

Writing product guides in the 'best' format

News stories on product launches

Be able to write across a broad range of topics; fashion, beauty, homeware, tech, kids etc.

Attending events on behalf of the company

Trialing and reviewing products

Contributing to social media accounts

Maintaining evergreen articles

Keep up to date on the latest deals

Pitching ideas for commerce content

Skills and experience:

Previous experience in journalism (1-2 years)

Able to write knowledgeably across a wide range of topics

Understanding of SEO and skills in producing content which works in search

Be able to write creative and engaging copy

Stay on top of a demanding workload

Experience in tech writing highly desirable

Basic knowledge of eCommerce content and Affiliate practices highly desirable
