SHEQ Advisor (Construction)

Location:
Remote / site / report to Hatfield Office

Salary:
£50k + pension + 25 hols + Life cover +++

Summary:


Key responsibilities:


  • Reporting into the Senior SHEQ Advisor
  • Supporting / implementing requests to ensure that products / services meet all compliances
  • Ensuring the working conditions of the company are favourable, compliant and safe
  • Providing technical support / guidance ensuring effective implementation and operation of the ISO9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 systems
  • Managing allocated visits ensuring the effective and efficient use of resources available

Skills and experience required:


  • Relevant experience of working as part of a SHEQ team
  • Experience of managing an SHEQ function within a business of similar siz/complexity
  • At least 3 years relevant construction sector experience
  • Background in dealing with complex system audits, both internal and external
  • Up to date knowledge of UK legislation in relation to SHEQ
  • Ability to work remotely, alone and as part of a team
  • Strong communication, organisation and influencing skills
  • Good at developing relationships at all levels of management structure
  • Computer literate
  • NEBOSH General Certificate & NEBOSH Construction
