Description

Our client, based in East London, is currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner on a fixed-term contract until December 2023.

Our client is an Academy Trust that aims to provide an excellent education to young people.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary is £50,757 per annum. Please note, some travel in and around London may be required dependent on business needs.

Duties will include (but not limited to):
To support the Director of HR (DHR) in the provision of a high quality HR service to the organisation as a whole and to deputise as required
Develop and implement HR management systems, processes and standards to ensure HR information, policies and procedures are properly managed and implemented and best practice is shared across the organisation as required
Lead and manage operational HR activities including ER, Performance Management, Recruitment and Retention, Payroll and Training and Development
Lead on organisational HR projects as and when required
Coach managers in order to develop their people management / leadership skills
Provide a timely and effective recruitment and selection service, including advice on Safer Recruitment, policy and procedure and good employment practice
Advise managers at all levels on employment-related issues, working in partnership with SLT and other stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, effective and appropriate HR interventions


Experience required:
HR Business Partnering experience
Education experience
