Team Leader, Grounds Maintenance & Invasive Weeds

Salary £27,000 to £30,000 + Vehicle, Bonus & O/time

We are recruiting for a Team Leader to take responsibility for a number of sites across East Anglia.

Our client is a leading Grounds Maintenance contractor and the treatment of invasive weeds is an increasingly important sector for them and they are looking to build their team to cope with a growing demand for these services.

The Job:

This role will cover a large area so you must be happy to travel across area - a fully funded company vehicle is provided together with a mobile phone.

The Person:

Good communication skills are important as you will often be the face of the company, interacting with clients and suppliers as well as your own office team.

Your plant and general gardening knowledge will enable you to identify problems and solutions.
General Horticultural, Grounds maintenance duties as necessary
Making sure that completed work is recorded and reported
Communicating any issues or problems with your Line Manager
Experience of herbicide spraying, with PA1 & PA6 certification
A selfstarter, able to motivate yourself and others.
A full UK Driving Licence.
Notification of any H&S issues, Observations or Accidents in line with company procedures
Making sure you have the correct uniform and PPE
Ensuring that all vehicles and machinery that you use are in good order and safe to operate
