Technical Account Manager (Engineering)

Northampton, NN4

Permanent

£25,000- £32,000 plus bonus

You will be responsible for Account Managing your own existing clients in the UK and Overseas, offering solutions and strategies to improve their overall product performance and service.


You will be responsible for:


  • Managing a range of different accounts and maintaining regular touchpoints with the customer?
  • Providing industry leading customer service, will be required to nurture and grow assigned accounts within an agreed portfolio as well as focusing on customer retention.
  • Capturing feedback via NPS and monitoring improvements with the customer.
  • Provide detailed explanation of products at a catalogue level, as well as demonstrating a firm understanding to enable constructive conversation
  • Identifying opportunities and resolving customer issues.
  • Using system such as Mosaic and SAP to support the customer

In order to be successful you need:

  • Mechanical/Electro-Mech/Electronic Engineering
  • Degree or HND minimum qualification or equivalent experience
  • Able to converse at a technical level
  • Extensive experience of successfully working in a sales or service environment in an engineering organisation
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
