    Job Title: Secretary/Administration Assistant within the Sterile Services Department at Wrexham Maelor Hospital

    • Provide a full range of administrative duties in all aspects of the sterile process, procedures, and departmental accreditation.
    • Support the Sterile Services Manager and Deputy Manager in providing a professional sterile service.
    • Offer a customer-focused service to staff, managers, external customers, and suppliers.

    Qualifications:

    Essential

    • Educated to standard grade level GCSE grade C or above in English language
    • NVQ level 3 administration or relevant experience
    • ECDL or equivalent experience

    Desirable

    • Copy/audio typing
    • Minute taking
    • Hold relevant internal auditor qualification
    • NVQ 3 in Decontamination
    • City & Guilds Decontamination related courses

    Experience:

    Essential

    • Experience using Microsoft Access database system and other traceability software
    • Organizational ability
    • Previous experience of general office procedures

    Desirable

    • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team setting
    • Experience of working within the NHS
    • Experience with NHS electronic systems
    • Decontamination experience

    Skills:
