VACANCY - SENIOR CUSTOMER SERVICES EXECUTIVE (HYBRID ROLE)

SALARY - Basic £27500 with potential individual and company performance incentives

HOURS - Mon - Thur pm and Friday finishing at 1.30pm

(Employees can choose to work from home every Friday)

LOCATION - HILLINGTON, GLASGOW

OVERVIEW

Large, very well established Manufacturing company with a Global presence are expanding their Customer Service Team with the addition of a SENIOR Service Coordinator.


POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Senior Customer Service Coordinator builds and maintains relationship with the territory sales representative.
Builds strong customer relationship, and acts as main point of contact for Key Accounts.

Ensure technical and commercial requirements are sound before signing off on customer PO.

Provide ongoing support to key clients with regards to their outstanding backlog.

Be the first point of contact for territory sales representative.

Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products and solutions, in accordance to the customer needs and objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Own a set of Global key accounts with the objective of providing outstanding customer service, corresponding directly with customer, and working closely with assigned territory sales reps
  • Working closely with the Sales Team to offer customers suitable quotaions and preparation of propoals
  • Manage significant stock/project purchase orders adhering to with internal performance measurements and regulations, while meeting customer requests
  • Track and expedite customer orders whilst working closely with Planning/Shipping and Credit Control teams
  • Coordinate with Bid Management team to align with special, nonstandard commercial order requirements (i.e.; terms and conditions, warranty clauses etc), ensuring order compliance.
  • Share customer backlog reports, and liaise directly with client on a regular basis.
  • First point of contact on all order inquiries and expediting request
  • Work with client on ways we can improve our service to them, and feedback internally
Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years customer service experience required
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, intermediate level Excel
Education

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in a related field or relevant experience. This qualification could be an advantage but is NOT essential.
