Trainee Healthcare Recruitment Consultant

Hours: 37.5 hour per week

Salary:
£23,000 - £25,000 per annum

We are looking for someone with working experience within the health and social care sector, who also has extensive knowledge in the recruitment industry and has the passion for quality care.


You will be

  • An experienced healthcare recruiter or have recruitment experience, plus excellent healthcare industry knowledge.
  • Working with internal and external individuals, to build and maintain effective working relationships to ensure we maintain an excellent understanding of our service staffing recruitment needs and requirements for all roles.
  • Target and task orientated, aspiring to achieve the services needs and KPI's.
  • Process driven
  • Continually reviewing quality of recruitment strategies both internally and externally
  • Experienced in business development and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake proactive recruitment activity to support recruitment growth, including the writing of effective job adverts, posting on job sites, social media and being a point of expertise in your speciality area.
  • Working with internal and external individuals, to build and maintain effective working relationships to ensure we maintain an excellent understanding of our service staffing recruitment needs and requirements for all roles.
  • CV matching to successfully place suitable applicants into JMR Healthcare vacancies.
  • Conduct prescreen interview and face to face interviews.
  • Achieve recruitment targets and KPI's as agreed with the line manager.
  • To deliver effective recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Support the compliance of the service in ensuring on going compliance of work is maintained.
  • Complete monthly recruitment plans with the line manager.
  • Establish links with local job centres, colleges, and universities.
  • Carry out research to benchmark and identify best practise for recruitment and retention within the social care sector.

About you

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience working as a recruitment consultant or within the recruitment sector
  • Have knowledge and experience in developing and implementing temporary to permanent recruitment.
  • Experience and knowledge of the care sector is highly desirable.
  • Experience of Implementing and delivering recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Target Driven.
  • Highlevel customer service skills.
  • Excellent team player, naturally helpful.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
