30,000 - £35,000 Per Annum Depending on Experience

Our client is a highly successful engineering company who have been established in the local area for over 40 years.

This is a temporary to permanent position but could also be permanent for the right candidate.

however, you will be competent and have experience in using and understanding SolidWorks and other similar packages.

The company is happy to offer on the job training, to enable you to develop your skills and progress within the company.

This is an office-based role and ideally you will come from an engineering/manufacturing background.

From hand sketches or briefs, the Draughtsperson will create 3 dimensional models and prepare detailed technical drawings suitable for manufacture, using CAD software and computer visuals as required.

Provide project management support, if required, to achieve customer requirements.

Ensure that all administration (internal/external) is complete in full and on time.

Design skills and ability to use appropriate software.

Computer literacy.

A creative approach for generating new ideas.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 17:00 and Friday 8:00 - 14:00.
