HR Advisor - Poole, United Kingdom - Bond Williams
Description
We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our client based in Poole. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move onto the next step of their HR career.Working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide advice to management on employee relations and management issues
- Deal with various HR queries throughout the business
- Support the onboarding process for new employees
- Liaise with recruiting managers and agencies regarding CV's and employee onboarding
- Coordinate HR employee inductions
- Identifying ways to improve existing policies and procedures within HR
- Monitoring key HR metrics, such as turnover and retention rates to ensure proactive support
- Provide advice and play a major role in work reviews which will include disciplinaries
- Using HR information systems to access, input and compile data
- Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
Skills & experience:
- Experience of working in a HR role dealing with recruitment and HR admin
- Good interpersonal skills in order to effectively deal with employees
- Ability to use own initiative
- Excellent organisation skills
- Up to date with employment law and HR best practices
