The job holder will work closely and collaboratively with others to gather feedback and make recommendations based on this to develop appropriate products.

This diverse role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail and a focus on getting things right and getting things done.

About the role
Our work is underpinned by evidence and insight.

As a product designer you will lead teams of contributors and liaise with relevant stakeholders to gather knowledge and insight to support the design of new or revised qualifications.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the products are delivered on time, to cost, and to quality assurance parameters.

This includes regulatory requirements and meeting the needs of our customers.


Working with colleagues in different teams including assessment standards, sales and marketing, operations, product management and product support, forms a key part of this role as you strive to create innovative and exciting products.


You will work closely and collaboratively with others to gather feedback and make recommendations based on this to develop appropriate products.

This diverse role requires excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.


About you


You will need previous experience of working in the education or assessment sector, where you will have designed or developed educational products.

You will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to interpret a wide range of information in the creation or improvement of a product.

The ability to influence to create buy-in and gain agreement, particularly when dealing with multiple stakeholders with conflicting interests, is essential in this role.

As a product designer you need to be a confident "plate spinner", as you will often have multiple competing priorities.
