MTrec Recruitmentare pleased to be working with a South Tyneside manufacturer who are moving into a very busy and exciting growth period.

They are looking for skilled panel wireman to join their team. Our client manufacture switchgear and control panelsfor a variety of industries including manufacturing and medical sectors.


The Role

  • Cutting, Stripping, and crimping industrial wires
  • Installing and fitting buzz bars, components, and framework
  • Working from diagrams and drawings to build control panels
  • Using a range of hand tools including wire cutters, wire crimpers and strippers
  • Also be able to use other industrial tools and machinery
  • Verify results by assisting with inspection and testing of components
  • Maintains safe work environment by following and procedures
  • Keeps equipment operating by following instructions
  • Troubleshooting breakdowns and performing preventive maintenance

The Person

  • Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification required
  • Must have relevant experience in the industry
  • Focused on quality and excellence of end product
  • Motivated to meet targets and deadlines
  • Working either independently or within a team
  • Be able to help and pass on experiences to help improvements within the company

Shifts

  • Working on a permanent dayshift 08.00am till 16.30pm, with potential and opportunity for overtime

Pay
- £14.50 an hour for skilled workers
