Ward based Technologist work alongside clinical staff to support the efficiency of equipment and stock management.

The role combines elements of the Housekeeper role, and relives some duties from the Health Care Assistants and other Clinical Staff.

The post holder will;

  • Carry out a range of technical and administrative activities delegated by (and where appropriate, under the supervision of) a Senior Ward based Technologist or Technician.
  • Participate as an active member of the support worker team;
  • Organise own daytoday work tasks (under delegation without direct supervision)
  • Participate in ongoing training and development, and maintain skills necessary for the role
  • Contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the service.
