Compliance Officer, Investigations
Role Context:
As Compliance Officer at Worley, you will play a pivotal role in leading a variety of ethics investigations ensuring allocated reports of suspected misconduct are brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
This is a remote working position supporting all Worley geographic locations globally and you may be required to travel at short notice.
You'll be:
- Undertaking high quality, detailed, fair and professional internal investigations including identifying root causes and recommending remedial actions
- Providing support on ethics and compliance issues, policy creation and interpretation, compliance risk assessments, trend analysis and best practice recommendations
- Conducting investigative interviews and other relevant methodologies
- Providing guidance to noninvestigative colleagues as required
- Assisting and seeking advice from the Compliance Director and Compliance Team when required
You'll have:
- Advanced knowledge of ethics investigations
including corporate misconduct, investigation techniques, standards, methodologies, approaches, and practices - An understanding of business operations, finance, project management/control systems and IT processes
- The ability to adapt, develop, modify, and execute suitable techniques, processes, tools, and procedures to fulfil the requirement/needs of the investigation scope and business requirements
- The ability to communicate and independently engage with a broad range of personnel across the business to source information and operate with empathy but in an objective, professional way
- A proactive, goaloriented attitude with excellent attention to detail and be a person of integrity who is trusted by others
