Are you a 'starter-finisher'? Someone who will follow a task from the beginning to the end, no matter how long it might take?


Here at Hilldales Residential Care Home, in Ilfracombe, we are keen to find someone with tenacity, who be essential in making sure the office runs as smoothly as possible, whilst having a clean desk at the end of the day and as short a list of things to do tomorrow.

Each day will be different. - enquiries to be answered, paperwork to be completed, and message communicated efficiently. Speed is often essential - liaising with suppliers, providers and families. They all deserve prompt attention.


You will have an excellent telephone manner, be a wizard with Microsoft Office software, and have an innate ability to multi-task - balancing competing demands without getting flustered.


Our admin assistant is also responsible for keeping financial records and you need to be diligent with spreadsheets and managing our residents' finances with trust and reliability.

Could you be up to the job?

Experience is important but not essential.

Above all we are looking for someone who can take the initiative, gets enjoyment from completing a task and who goes home with a clean desk and list of jobs completed.


We are happy to consider applicants who want either a full time or part time role, but we need to ensure some daily cover Mon-Fri each week.

Salary:
£10.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
You will be expected to follow Covid-19 precautions in the home to help protect residents and staff.
