SLG Recruitment has partnered with a well-respected small independent business to recruit a Personal Assistant on a full-time basis located in central Edinburgh.

This is a newly created role and will primarily provide PA support to the two Directors and oversee the smooth running of the office/showroom.

They have a stunning office/showroom close to the city centre (Edinburgh South) which is fully accessible via public transport or walking if living locally as this role is required to be office based.

Core duties include diary management, overseeing the showroom, meeting & greeting clients, processing invoices using XERO, arranging UK based travel, organising monthly events and putting administrative processes in place.

Having an interest in the creative sector/music would be advantageous.

Hours:
Office Based
  • Monday to Friday
9.30am to 5pm


Key duties of the Personal Assistant

  • Providing full administration support to the two Directors
  • Diary Management
  • Overseeing the smooth running of the office/showroom
  • Inbox management
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all incoming calls and greeting all visitors who drop into the office/showroom
  • Dairy management for the central office, Deputy CEO and CEO's calendar
  • Organising all office travel, monthly client events and meetings
  • Reviewing and enhancing the office filing system
  • Creating administration processes & procedures
  • System Superuser (training provided)
  • Managing Health and Safety procedures throughout the office ensuring fully compliant
  • Responsible for ensuring all office equipment is maintained and working well
  • Stationery management
  • General facilities management duties and ad hoc administration support as and when needed

Key skills of the Personal Assistant:

  • Recent and up to date PA/Office Management experience
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with XERO or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and willing to muck in with all levels of tasks
