School Support Worker - Richmond

Are you looking to start your career in education as a School Support Worker? Do you love supporting children? Live in the Richmond area?

If so, we are recruiting for a School Support Worker to work within a fantastic primary school, local to Rochmond.

The role is fulltime from Monday to Friday, 8-4pm.

The role will consist of class support, working with small groups and working in a 1:1 capacity supporting a child in Reception with SEN.

The School:

The school is a primary school educating children between 4 and 11 years
The school has over 350 pupils enrolled
The aim of the school is to provide a stimulating and fun environment for the kids to learn
The school prides in being warm and friendly to pupils, parents and the community

The Role:

As a School Support Worker you will need to support students in small groups and in a 1:1 capacity
Contribute to creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment
Work across different classes and have a positive attitude towards supporting children with their needs
Ensure safety for pupils in and out of class as a School Support Worker
Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised

Requirements:

Available Immediately:

Previous experience supporting children required
Have a positive attitude and be flexible towards working in different classes throughout the school day
Willingness to learn what it takes to support SEN children
Live local to Richmond or within a commutable distance
