Our client are a multi-specialist firm of solicitors based in South London who have a national reputation in niche areas and are in the top 200 firms in England.


About the Marketing Team:


Our client has grown substantially over recent years, organically and via acquisition, and the BD & Marketing team continues to grow to support the firm's ambitious plans.

This is a very exciting time to be joining a dynamic team.

The quantity and nature of the work undertaken by the team has increased and changed significantly over the last 5 years, delivering integrated marketing campaigns and engaging online content faster and more regularly, and analysing data to inform future marketingand BD activity.


About the role:

The Marketing Systems & Data Executive will be responsible for the marketing and BD elements of the firm's systems.

This will include the implementation of a new Practice Management System (PMS), Client Relationship Management (CRM), onboarding solutions andclient-facing software such as apps and secure portals.

We are looking for a confident, results-driven Systems & Data Executive to improve our data management and systems usage.


Main responsibilities:


  • Heavy involvement in the implementation of a new PMS system: Practice Evolve.
  • Configuring the system to fee earner needs prelaunch.
  • Data management for data migration purposes.
  • Assisting fee earners through training and support.
  • Implementation of CRM functionality.
  • Introduction of a uniform process for relationship management.
  • Centralised recording of marketing activities, BD and networking.
  • Production of firmwide reports and management information (MI).
  • Regular reporting to show:
  • ROI for marketing activities
  • Referrer and pipeline management
  • Refinement of a new enquiry processes so they are streamlined and all in one place.
  • Measurement of KPIs to show:
  • Leads and conversions
  • Sources of new enquiries
  • Sources of new work
  • Referrer rankings
  • Financial information fees/profit etc.
  • Management of emarketing including newsletters, event invitations etc.
  • Competitor and market research.
  • Identification of trends and patterns to assist Head of BD & Marketing in strategy development.
  • Improvement of the client experience (CX) and client journey through the introduction of clientfacing software and systems.
  • Ensure the firm stays abreast of technology developments for MI and CX purposes.

Person Specification:


  • Techsavvy marketer with a commercial understanding of the role MI plays.
  • Proven experience in implementing new systems and managing change.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Ability to build and develop relationships with key individuals within and outside of the organisation.
  • Confident, with excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, rather than reactive in approach.
  • Patient and resilient individual. Training experience an advantage.
  • Analytical, with reporting expertise and good attention to detail.
  • Team player, with an ability to operate a 'one firm' approach.
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment and with a PMS an advantage.
