We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations and Finance Manager to join this dynamic and growing charity and membership organisation.

Manchester with hybrid working (some travel across the North and London may be required)

Full-time


Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum pro rata


Contract:
Permanent

About the Role

This is an exciting role with lots of opportunities for leadership and for your own personal and professional development.

You will work closely with the CEO, the team and the organisation's pool of expert associates as well as the organisation's varied membership.

This is a key role in their small, busy team that will lead in ensuring the smooth running of all of the organisations operations and finances, and that systems and processes are in place to provide an excellent service to members.

This role will also work closely with the CEO, the Director of Partnerships and Products, and the board of trustees to support effective governance and financial management.

Key responsibilities of the Operations and Finance Manager include:
*Oversee the calendar of events, communities of practice, training, and consultancy, supporting the scheduling of activities and programmes with total commitment to excellent support for members and wider stakeholders.

*Oversee the delivery of projects that achieve the organisation's business objectives.

*Ensure that the organisation has the appropriate digital and tech platforms to deliver activity (e.g., online events, consultancy, training, and communities of practice) and that the team are confident and skilled in utilising them.

*Work with relevant providers to ensure the organisation's digital platforms and website are available and meet functional requirements.

*Day-to-day responsibility for the financial tracking of income and expenditure, monthly reconciliation with accounts etc.

*Ensure up to date data is reported and recorded.

*Produce financial management reports including monthly management accounts and cashflow forecasts at agreed timeframes for CEO and Board.

*Oversee the production of the Trustees Annual Reports and Accounts including liaising with accountants, and auditors and ensuring in-time filing of documents with relevant bodies.

*Review and develop the organisation's infrastructure ensuring an efficient and productive service to members.

*Design and develop new and efficient production methods to streamline the delivery of our work.
