Join our team as a Part-Time Student Support Assistant in our partner SEND schools and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with diverse learning needs.


About the Role:


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to assist in the implementation of individual education plans for students with SEND.
  • Provide oneonone or small group support to students, promoting their engagement and participation in class activities.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere where all students can thrive academically and socially.
  • Support students with daily tasks, including personal care if required, while maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support strategies.

Requirements:


  • Currently studying for Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or similar qualification.
  • Genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual, with excellent time management skills.
  • An understanding of the principles of safeguarding and child protection.

£70.00-£80.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Experience:


  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
