Digital Autopsy UK are a team of entrepreneurs and innovators on a mission to redefine how post-mortems are carried out in the UK.

We aim to give every person the opportunity to be their best selves at work.

You will be responsible for transporting deceased people from local mortuaries to our Stoke-on-Trent site.

You will work closely with our Service Team to ensure a timely and smooth transfer of the deceased between the resting mortuary and our facility.

Responsibilities

To collect and transport the deceased from mortuaries in the Chesterfield, Doncaster & Rotherham area and transfer to Digital Autopsy facility locations.

Work closely with the Service Team to ensure transfers are undertaken to the appropriate location in a timely manner.
Assist staff and mortuary staff with handling and moving of the deceased.
Conduct oneself with pride and be mindful of ensuring the dignity of the deceased.
Ensure a smart well turned out appearance at all times.
Drive private ambulance to the standards required, maintain the cleanliness both externally and internally of the vehicles and refuel in line with operational policies.
Ensure vehicles are driven at the correct speed limits in accordance with the law.
Assist with administration work when required.
Carry out other levelappropriate tasks as may be required.
Full Driving Licence 6 points or less
Physically fit and smart in appearance
Funeral background experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be given
You must have a sympathetic and empathetic approach to the nature of the work

Job Type:
Full-Time Temporary position

Salary:
£12.50 per hour

Schedule:

Day shift

Monday to Friday

No weekends or bank holidays

Ability to commute/relocate:

Chesterfield / Doncaster / Rotherham areas: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
