Job summary
Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust are in the exciting position to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated specialist pharmacist for cystic fibrosis.
We are seeking a confident pharmacist with drive and excellent communication skills who has substantial experience in direct delivery of clinical pharmacy services. The ideal candidate should have a broad range of clinical knowledge and the ambition to develop this role as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
To lead, deliver, develop and evaluate a highly specialised clinical pharmacy service to Cystic Fibrosis speciality in order to ensure safe, clinically effective and cost-efficient use of drugs.
To participate in the pharmaceutical services of the Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. These services include clinical pharmacy, aseptic services and in-patient services.
In addition, you will provide a clinical pharmacy service to a designated ward with patient facing duties.
You will be expected to take part in the weekend and bank holiday service and the out of hour emergency duty service.Weekend work is usually one every 6 weeks and BH on a rota basis , one weekend per year.
